Saturday, April 13, 2019 - Very primary, still showing a bit of that spritz on the palate and I wonder if more air might have helped. The Prüm sulfur isn't apparent, but the fruit still feels rather tightly coiled and gives the impression there's a lot in reserve. There's some apparent maturing smokiness along with the floral and mineral notes, but right now this seems more about its potential than pleasure. I'll wait on my Auslesen some time longer, and open the Späts in the mean time.
