Comes out a bit hot and a bit tannic for a merlot, nearly harsh, but with a relatively limited finish. This isn’t a bad wine, especially for the price, but it’s not a style I find very enjoyable. Decanted for an hour and had with pan-seared pork chops. Not a bad paring.
