Followed with layered flavors of dark cherry, cassis, clove, and anise with a nice acidic backbone. Starts soft and quickly builds on the mid-palate with ample tannins revealing a well structured wine leading to an orange peel laced finish. Great now with 1-2 hr’s decant, this should do better with some cellar time.
