Sunday, December 2, 2012 - At Ken Griggs dinner. He had a 3 hour decant on this wine before we drank it. Beautiful nose on the pour: big red fruit, floral, bacon fat

Earthy, old world tasting burgundy. Primary fruits are blackberry, red fruits mushrooms, lavender. Finish was 15+ seconds. Spectacular Burgundy with plenty of upside over time, drinking well right now.

Like other tasters noted, this is a wine to be enjoyed over a long time, could sit there and enjoy for hours, keeps adding complexity after a 3 hour decant and an hour of drinking.
