Friday, February 15, 2013 - I was shocked. I had the MV Rose about 8 years ago and found it pedestrian. Billecart has clearly upgraded its standards since. This was a flavorful Rose with hints of cherry and just barely enough skin to make the wine the most yellow shade of pink I've ever seen. At first glance it was not a Rose. A long finish and just a little honeysuckled citrus to go with the cherry. Perfect acidity/sweetness balance.
