Tuesday, April 2, 2024 - Pours ruby with slight bricking at the edges, showing its age... Pretty much what you'd expect from a "young" Tondonia... initially a bit closed but opens up with air to reveal cherry, plums, earth, cigar soaked oak paneled basement and a juicy, acidic finish. Tannis are soft but present. As you'd expect, pairs great with serrano ham and any and all dishes that contain piquillo peppers, paprika and olive oil. Drink from now to forever.
