Friday, April 19, 2024 - Appropriately pale but dark hued brilliant red. Nose of ripe mixed red berry fruits - expressive and generous. Already quite layered on the palate - complex and full. But there is a coolness to the fruit - and a pleasant mineral thread from the bright acid that runs from the mid-palate through the long finish. Delicious succulent fruit. A wine that lives on its acid more than its tannins, which only show up really late and are buried in fruit. Really lovely and totally worthy of its premiere cru status. Probably most enjoyable in the next ten years but will surely last longer. Really good.
