Wednesday, February 28, 2024 - (Imported by Kobrand, NY). Historic estate. Since 1560. Roussanne (43%), Clairette (30%), Grenache Blanc (25%), Bourboulenc (2%).

Color: Light-medium straw.

Nose: Lovely, subdued, distinct nose. This has focused, pure, aroma of honeysuckle, yellow plum, chamomile, wild honey. Totally clean. No oak.

Pal: Rich, lush front and mid palette. Round finish with decent acidity. Full body. Dry. 13.5% alc. Superb balance.

Most impressive, perhaps, in the mouthfeel. Lush, spherical. A lovely example of white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

91-92 pts.
Drinking well right now (2024). Will get hazelnut with age.
