Monday, April 4, 2016 - Bricking and oxidation is apparent, but the structure of this bottle held up surprisingly well. Subtleties of black fruit remain, but the nose of cedar, horse blanket, and sherry remain. Palate reflects a bit of leathery notes while confirming perceptions from the nose. Acid is medium while tannins have softened to medium levels. Mature and elegant now, don't wait on this one any more. Still quite enjoyable if the bottle integrity holds up!
