Friday, April 8, 2011 - This wine was tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage Wines, Ltd. The bottle was kindly provided by Diogo Belo. Opaque red/garnet robe with garnet rim. Clean nose, showing explosive aromas of coriander, red currants, dust and red plums. Full-bodied on the palate, with medium-to-high acidity, medium sweet tannins and red fruit flavors. The middle palate is solid and the finish is long, albeit a bit tart. This wine is quite enjoyable now, but it screams for food. It has the structure to further improve with time in the cellar. Drink 1/14-12/25.
