Sunday, September 11, 2011 - Old world meets new in the ‘05 Marcenasco. This has beautiful dark color, notes of Ripe dark plum and strawberry along with some floral, light licorice and some subtle mocha notes. The structure is awesome with firm chewy tannins that carry over to a finish that seems endless. If you really can’t wait, this is approachable now, but this will really hit its peak in a few more years. (Drink 2012 – 2024) - JD
