Saturday, December 2, 2023 - A very pale in colour with a restrained, mainly gooseberry, nose. Mainly gooseberry on the palate with citrus fruits and some tropical fruit hints. Fair acidity and quite long with a rich, almost 'oily' ending (nice). A good value (currently on offer at £7 minus 25%), straightforward Bordeaux SB with some 'New World' influence. Good with smoked salmon and prawns in a spicy sauce.
