Saturday, June 18, 2022 - Drank from excellent provenance… maybe this was a freakishly good bottle… but wow I really loved this. Once the lovely funk blew off in glass (took 15 mins tops) this showed a wonderful truffled cherry blast in the nose, with additional mushroom and tea adding to the mix when the wine hit the palette.

Still nice acidity and structure for a 29y old wine, with a sneaky long finish. Excellent drinking experience :)
