Thursday, April 4, 2024 - PnP at Heirloom. I didn't pick up on any of the smoke notes that others observe. It has the fascinating combination of low alcohol but relatively ripe characteristics: 12.7% but solid mid+ body. Quite interesting and would be curious to follow in a couple years.

4/5/2024 4:03:00 AM - Fascinating to me how some bottles from this vintage can apparently show smoke taint and others not a whiff, if they're all from the same vineyard. I have two of these in storage, will have to try one sometime this year to see what I discover.
