Thursday, June 12, 2008 - Big, bold color and fruit right off the bat. Smacks you in the face with structure of an Aussie Shiraz but mellows out much quicker and becomes a very nice wine within 30 minutes. Plum is present and noticeable with subtle cocoa, oak and vanilla. Pleasant mouth feel with an even better finish. Going to revisit next year and see if it improves.
