Saturday, March 23, 2024 - Classic SA sauvignon blanc nose, blackcurrent leaf, slightest hint of green pepper, fresh and clean. The palate is completely unexpected, but in a very good way. Huge complexity, so much going on, very rich and full bodied for a Sauv Blanc. Some citrus, but also riper fruits like guava, and also asparagus. Almost a tanic/drying finish - very long. Overall a very impressive and distanctive wine - like it a lot!
