Wednesday, October 4, 2023 - Visits in the Wachau and Kamptal; 10/4/2023-10/5/2023 (In and around the Wachau and Kamptal, Lower Austria): From the first whiff, this is a real step up from the other wines poured. There is excellent depth and poise as it gets perfumed with tones of lemon peels, peaches, flinty notes, crushed rocks, apples, nectarines, and loads of white flowers. The Medium bodied feel shows some lovely, extra weight and seriousness along with tart, high acidity. This is a real delicious and beautiful Riesling that is drinking well now and can easily develop for years to come.
