Sunday, April 24, 2011 - One of my favorite wines in all Tuscany, here at a ridiculous price, just $24. Full-bodied and racy, with a sexy musky overtone that seems to be a hallmark of this particular wine. Deep red and black fruits, that heady perfume, perfectly balanced and great with food. The labeled 14% alcohol is a touch hot near the finish but I suspect it will integrate with a little more time.
