Friday, April 19, 2024 - 5/12. 10.5% abv. AP 01. 60° F. Dazzling. eventful stuff. Shocking to smell, like a stocked pincushion, like shards of green glittering rock. A drink is variously explosive with brittle salt, hurried with green strawberry, green caraway seed, and pretty sensations too. It's replete with Mosel Riesling typicity (red delicious / ginger / lime / cassis / knee-deep spring blossom litter.) All the way dry, arguably assertive in that regard, while it delivers repeated blows of pungent fruits, cultured roots, and flowers.

Still terrific 24 and 48 hours after opening, and a perfect Sunday dinner aperitif.
