Friday, September 15, 2023 - Sweet nose consisting of canned peach, quince, lemon curd, and honey/honeysuckle. Palate is waxy/jelly-ish and edges are totally wrapped in viscosity. Aftertaste of lemon candy / herbal cough drop. Rather short finish aromatically, with lingering bitter/warm suppleness (14% abv). Clean and textbook ripe Chardonnay and nothing more. Expected more based on the quality of Riesling from this winery. 87-88.
