Saturday, May 7, 2011 - popped and poured. color med ruby. nose started out a little funky and vegetal. palate similar on opening. With dinner (duck breast and currant glaze) the red fruits emerged, only to disappear after dinner into a sort of bandaid smelling very light fruit high acid/tannin melange that begged for food support. not a fan. won't buy again despite discount. i guess not a huge surprise given vintage.
