Thursday, February 23, 2023 - I'm glad to say that I enjoyed my second bottle more than the first. The usual charm of this bottling was now there in addition to the lively fruit and minerals. A few extra months may have been beneficial but I think it was mainly a pairing effect; this time a fish pie with capers to add some sharpness, which acted as a good foil for the wine bringing out some fragrance. Good.
