Friday, March 29, 2024 - Light straw gold, it offers apple, pear and mild ashy notes with a supple sweetness in the finish. Not as firm as I like my Chablis to be but a good companion for the sweet pecans and salty crumbled blue cheese in the salad course.

    3/31/2024 5:28:00 AM - Walnuts are generally my preferred nut for blue cheese, but pecans work well too and in this case, I served pecans for my Texan husband. I pronounce it peh-CAWN, he says PEE-can. :)
