Monday, August 1, 2011 - Compared against Crianza Glorioso from Bodegas Palacio 2005 - Youthful looking, ruby with medium intensity. Overpowering vanilla on the nose (American oak) + sweetness (cherry jam). Full bodied, nice tannins, medium to high acidity, buttery/meaty.Slightly imbalanced (overoaked, and feels quite alcoholic). Medium to long finish. Good value for money, can age a year or two with no problem.
