Tuesday, January 2, 2024 - PnP. Pale orange in the glass fading to a thin watery rim. Nose actually gives quite a bit of orange peel, along with dried strawberries, mild herbs, and furniture polish. Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity, tastes of lanolin, dried orange, and talc. Medium minus tannins. Previous vintages have tasted "fresher". This is a beginners orange wine without the heavy tannins and challenging flavors many others have. Think of it as a heavy rose. Drink now through 2025.
