Absolutely gorgeous floral nose, raspberry preserve, crushed blackberry, caramel, perfume, only a hint of sous bois and iron. Fully integrated sensual palate, silky and airy, floral raspberry fruit driven palate impression, bright acidity and a long sweet floral finish. Clearly expressing the 01 vintage typicity that we all love, i.e. Neither the most concentrated nor layered but with expressive detailed floral nose that is vibrant. My rating is the highest on CT but this is a beautiful GC Burgundy at the youthful peak.
