Monday, January 11, 2016 - Purchased from the mailing list and in the wine locker since. Pristine, ripe and juicy fruit, with plum, dark cherry and green tobacco notes. On the palate, this was delightfully youthful and silky, with peppercorn, soy, and more fruit. Long, detailed finish. If stored well, I could see this going another 5+ with all that fruit. I was certainly very pleasantly surprised. The only detraction was want I characterize as a metallic sharpness on the finish that I get in so many Cayuse Syrahs.
