Friday, September 15, 2023 - Nice and very drinkable.
Medium tanins, vanilla, blueberries, ripe blackberies, a hint of violett and black currant.
Good mouth feel, fades quickly leaving tannins and sweetness but not in an unpleasant way. A bit too sweet.
Considering the low price this is a lot of wine for the money. Great buy for middle of the week dinner wine.
Should go well with sage, thyme, duck and pasta.
I’ll probably buy a case and put in the cellar for an easy go to wine to drink now or next year. Don’t think it has much potential with age, but could probably survive and grow a bit the next few years.
