Tuesday, May 4, 2021 - Definitely one of the top 10 wines I have ever had. Incredible purity of fruit, this was richly layered with strawberries, blackberries, liqueur, leather, and the most velvety tannins, like cashmere. This only took a few minutes in the decanter for some of the mustiness that lurked out of the bottle after opening (perfect cork), and what a treat it became. The new standard bearers for top Brunelleschi for me, I’ll be thinking about this wine for a long while.
