Thursday, October 1, 2015 - Tasted blind. Woah, funky, earthy, plum, old wood, roasted meat, decay nose that immediately reminds me of Pesquera before I even taste it. Palate is smoky, very peppery, has an attractive sweet/sour acidity. Gutsy, well made wine and I was certain it was a Pesquera Reserva. Oh well, close enough.

Last night was funny - we called for reservations and they declined to mention it's only Burgers/sandwiches Wednesday nights so the food was pretty meh but the wines didn't care. Superb lineup.
