Saturday, June 10, 2023 - from the depths of uncle victor’s cellar… dark and viscous. the nose offers up sweet and fragrant cassis, blackberry, plum, along with notes of tobacco and mint. the palate is lush, unctuous, and smooth with a notable mineral note on the close. lovely wine.

ps first two glasses may have been the best, after 90mins the wine dropped some of its initial amplitude. so if you’re holding onto these, find an occasion to drink them!
