Tuesday, September 15, 2015 - Nowhere near as powerful and extracted as I expected, based on my previous experience with the 2008. The 2006 is more refined and smooth with a soft plummy nose with no noticeable alcohol or tannins. Taste is subtle dark fruit and a lingering plum finish. This may have been more vibrant in its youth but is a very civilized glass at present.
