Sunday, May 14, 2023 - Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: Those who know the 1982 know what potential this wine has. For a long time however, Pichon Baron was more reliable. Since 2011, the Philippe Moreau is technical director and it has moved upwards steadily. The 2020 and 2022 were world class today. Aromatic depth paired with graceful elegance. Especially with the 2020 (97pt) I was amazed that it has no sign of heaviness. The 2022 (98pt) was even more refined, my WOTN.
