Sunday, October 29, 2023 - Apparently I forgot to put this shipment into CT, whoops.

Light garnet, more on the red side, in color with a bit of cloudiness. Nose was open and ready to go - soy sauce, asian 5 spice, yuzu, burnt brown sugar, and a hint of red fruits. Light bodied, fresh, acidic, and pairs perfectly well with the Spanish cheeses on the table. Palate of cranberries, juicy pomegranates, a bit of yuzu, a bit of white pepper. Short finish of fresh light-red fruits, light tobacco leaf, white pepper and other spices, and a bit of dark minerals.

Light, refreshing, and fun. Feels like a more complex Mission grape wine. A great warm weather red wine.
