Wednesday, September 21, 2022 - Seems overpriced for what it is: the acidity came off as a bit harsh, gravely, and there wasn’t enough fruit or brioche to balance that. This is $15-20 more than other champagnes that are of comparable or better quality in our opinion.

9/25/2022 8:46:00 PM - Yeah. The “didn’t like it” means I definitely wouldn’t buy it again, since I’d prefer several other wines in the price range. It doesn’t mean I didn’t like the wine at all or wouldn’t drink it, or wouldn’t order it if it’s reasonably priced at a restaurant and it’s the only champagne. Also my wife and I are generous scorers, so 89 might be superlative for some but for us it means B/B+ or good, enjoyable, but not a step above.
