Complex apple notes, citrus, mixed berries, nuts, almond, bread crust, brioche, and smoke, with good acidity and very good length. Good autolysis character. Smooth, creamy mousse even under cabin pressure. Very harmonious after a few minutes in the glass. The Charles Heidsieck Réserve NV bottling is very consistent in its richer, autolytic, slightly oxidative style. A very good NV champagne.
