Sunday, June 3, 2018 - We decided to open a bottle of champagne on a warm summer day, nose of yeast, baked apple, smoke, and nectarine, same on the palate, big body, lots of acid, crisp refreshing, mouth filling, lots of fine bubbles made a lovely mousse in the glass, the smokiness really showed throughout the evening, and a long, refreshing finish.
