Saturday, June 20, 2020 - I think I liked this a good deal more on the second night. It has calmed down and feels more integrated. Some light toasted toast, lees and sulfury oak. Sticky acid. Bubbles are on the rougher side. Good length on a sort of golden apple and citrus palate. I honestly think this is one of the NV's that should be good for aging. This bottle is 2015 base so I want to revisit with some from a bigger vintage but this is solid. The bottle is goofy, especially since this is no top cuvee. Good wine. Letting my other one rest for a bit.
