Tuesday, December 22, 2020 - Was a little disappointed last time I tasted a bottle of the 2008 based brut reserve. This time was a slightly different edition as it had a much later disgorgement - 2017!

I was very happy with the champagne this time. Very fresh and elegant and much less toasty Charles Heidsieck style that I'm used to with brut reserve. Deliciously complex for an nv and huge QPR. Amazing to be able to purchase a champagne like this with 8 years lees ageing for less than 40euro!
