Sunday, February 28, 2016 - 24-Hour Tampa Blitzkrieg; 2/27/2016-2/28/2016: [Magnum] Nearly as good as the '37 Lafite Mag last night. Red cedar, teas, spice, farmy underbrush. Fat on the palate and still totally hedonistic. Drinking like 80s. Tannins are still alive and providing excellent structure. Gorgeous finish. Mature currant, blackberry, and blueberry. You can really chew on this still. Very alive, tons of horsepower. Guess the wines from this chateau never slow down, this is still intense. Tannic. Classic Las Cases. Spot on and amazing. Big. Recorked in 1974.
