Monday, April 29, 2013 - Great nose with several layers of dark berries, herbs and spices. Quite delicate nose, still. On the palate quite complex and resembling the nose impressions. Tertiary notes were the nicest, because it had that slight overripeness to it. Perhaps the hot vintage?! Full bodied, for sure. Even though the alcohol was high, to my surprise it was no bother. I believe RP would term it "opulent". Nice experience, altogether, and I guess further cellaring may not add much.
