Tuesday, February 5, 2008 - Rubi rosé, clear in color. On the nose, clean sensation, detergent, papaya, rose petal, a little bit of peach, and a little bit of petrol. Not too expressive nose. In mouth is a different story. Nice entrance with lush fruit; appreciable mid-palate with flavors of cherry soda and rubi red grapefruit. Turns tangy and ends slightly bitter with medium length. Weight and body that of Merlot with noticeable tannins. All in all, a little bit too sweet for my palate.
