Monday, April 15, 2024 - Entry level but delivers so much more. This is mostly Gamay, with a bit of Malbec to stir things up. Pale ruby in the glass. Freshly mashed forest fruit on the nose in the forms of wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant and cranberry. An umami edge here as well. Bright acidity, moderate alcohol. Not much complexity, but such a glou glou character, it will make you cry. Best vintage so far for me.
