Saturday, March 16, 2024 - PnP. Dark cherry and raspberry, some cinnamon/baking spice and vanilla notes from oak, some lower level floral notes (violets?). Medium body, medium acidity, well integrated tannins. Leans a bit more toward a bigger, riper fruit style of OPN than I typically like, but I think despite the intensity and concentration, it still shows a fair amount of elegance as well. Sourced from estate fruit in the Dundee Hills. A little outside of my typical OPN wheelhouse stylistically, but there's no denying this is a solid, well made wine. Drink now through 2031.
