Mature appearance but not tired; the nose is fresh and mineral, fully mature, with notes of undergrowth, white mushroom and a hint of Vosne spice box; the palate is fresh and energetic, slender and lively but really very tannic, seemingly without the weight of fruit to stand up to the firm structural elements; drying finish, light flavours but good length. Needs food and needs drinking sooner rather than later, as it will eventually dry out.
