Saturday, April 6, 2024 - Great wine! Popped and poured. Transparent beautiful vibrant red colour. A wine clearly on the more light or elegant side. On the nose fresh red fruit. Reminds me of red currant and cherries. Also deep "forest floor", or what I in my country(Norway) would call "lyng" or maybe heather in English. I also agree with fellow taster that it smells like bacon(In a good way!), or like barbecue. A light and fresh taste, long aftertaste and quite strong acidity for a red. In the beginning some unpleasant vinegary/soapiness aftertaste which more or less disappeared. Slightly reminded me of Niepoort charme 2021 which I don't like. All in all a wine I would highly recommend at the price i payed(less than 100 euros I think). I will buy more if I can. PS: I am a beginning wine enthusiast.
