Some nice cola notes on the nose as well as ripe strawberries, dried chalky mushrooms, minerals, anise or celery seed, and some George Brett pine-tar. The strawberries came out on the palate as well as some sweet cherries, a lil oak, spice, tart orange rind, and light clove. Some great juice but the heat in the mid and finish never really went away. A great pairing w/ the Salmon. And...if these guys hold back a lil on the alcohol...I'll be a HUGE fan.
