Thursday, May 29, 2008 - Nice medium red color. Not super dense or concentrated. The nose and palate however are a different story. Nice aromas of cherry cola with some dried leaves and red licorish. The palate is voluptuous with sweet ripe fruit, moderate tannins and decent acidity. The finish is persistent and enjoyable. The wine is young and needs some time to come together, maybe 6 to 12 months. The alcohol is also a little stronger than I'd prefer. Overall though, it's very enjoyable and tasty as the bottle disappeared very quick. 50 + 5 + 12 + 16 + 8
