Friday, April 26, 2024 - Very pale straw with reflections of green. Classic 21st century Sancerre: bright and crisp but with very, very little herbaceous character. On the nose this offers aromas of green apple, lime, a touch of kiwi, white flowers, lees and perhaps the faintest hint of cut grass. On the palate this is medium bodied but round and succulent in texture with crisp medium+ acidity and excellent cut. This isn't the last word in complexity but there's enough here for this to be both a crushable summertime Sancerre, and worthy of interest.
