Thursday, November 9, 2017 - 2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Beautiful ripe nose displaying decadent red and black fruit, raspberry jelly, crushed blackberry, black cherry, caramel, cinnamon, a hint of sous bois and earth. Excellent concentration, packed decadent raspberry and blackberry, medium acidity, good mineral presence and a long decadent red fruit driven finish. This is a very ripe and opulent wine that needs another five to ten years to reach the youthful peak.
